HL Deb 09 July 1935 vol 98 c188
LORD PONSONBY OF SHULBREDE

May I ask whether the House will meet at three o'clock to-morrow, and whether the First Schedule of the Government of India Bill will be the first Order?

THE MARQUESS OF LONDONDERRY

My Lords, I am proposing to put down a Motion to suspend Standing Order No. XXI for to-morrow's sitting in order to enable the House to take the various Motions on the Paper in an order which is necessitated by the fact that certain Bills on the Order Paper require to be dealt with before the Royal Commission sits at five o'clock, and to give the Committee stage of the Government of India Bill precedence over the remaining Orders of the Day. The House will meet to-morrow at three o'clock I think that will meet the convenience of your Lordships.

House adjourned at seven minutes before twelve o'clock.
