§ Page 29, line 15, leave out from ("Schedule.") to end of the Schedule, and 495 insert ("the expression qualified accountant" means a person being a member of one or more of the following bodies, that is to say:—
- "The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales;
- The Society of Incorporated Accountants and Auditors;

- The Institute of Accountants and Actuaries in Glasgow;
- The Society of Accountants in Aberdeen;
- The London Association of Certified Accountants, Limited;
- The Corporation of Accountants, Limited.")
§ THE MARQUESS OF LONDONDERRYMy Lords, this is a drafting Amendment. As a matter of drafting it is neater to set out the names of societies in the Schedule rather than to have the present provision which involves reference to other Statutes for the names of the societies. I beg to move.
§ Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendment.—(The Marquess of Londonderry.)
§ On Question, Motion agreed to.
