My Lords, I beg leave to introduce a Bill to enable persons injured on the road by a motor vehicle (other than motorists themselves) to recover compensation, in certain cases, without proof of negligence on the part of the defendant; and to make other provision in connection with the matters aforesaid. I move that it be read a first time.
