HL Deb 02 May 1934 vol 91 c1024
LORD PONSONBY OF SHULBREDE

My Lords, perhaps it would be for the convenience of the House if the noble Marquess could give us some idea of the business between now and when we rise for the Whitsuntide Recess.

THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR AIR (THE MARQUESS OF LONDONDERRY)

My Lords, I am not in a position to reply fully to that question. At the present moment all I can inform the noble Lord is that the Tithe Bill will not be taken to-morrow, but, as he is himself aware, on Monday the Motion that he has put down will be taken. Beyond that I am not in a position to give him any information as to the business until the House adjourns, but I will put the matter before the Leader of the House, and no doubt in a very short time he will be in a position to give the information which the noble Lord desires.

House adjourned at twenty-five minutes past six o'clock.
