HL Deb 26 July 1934 vol 93 cc1179-80
LORD PONSONBY OF SHULBREDE

Perhaps the noble Earl would be good enough to tell us at what time the House is to meet on Monday, and also, if he can, the date when your Lordships' House will be called to meet again after the Recess?

THE EARL OF LUCAN

My Lords, I am much obliged to my noble friend for asking that question. The Leader of the House proposes that the House should meet on Monday at three o'clock, when the Committee stage of the Cattle Industry (Emergency Provisions) Bill will be taken, and the Amendments, if any, to the Road Traffic Bill and the Milk Bill, or any of the Bills which we have sent to another place. If we get any back by then and there are any Amendments they will be considered. It is not thought that the sitting will be a very long one, but we shall meet at three o'clock. On Tuesday, it is proposed that the House shall meet at half past eleven, when there will be the Appropriation Bill and the remaining stages of the Cattle Industry Bill. There will be a Royal Commission at twelve o'clock and after that it is proposed, I believe, that we shall adjourn until October 30.

LORD PONSONBY OF SHULBREDE

I am much obliged to the noble Earl.

House adjourned at half past five o'clock.
