§ Order of the Day for the consideration of Commons Amendments read.
§ THE LORD CHANCELLORMy Lords, in moving that the Commons Amendments be considered I need not occupy your Lordships' time for more than a very few minutes. What happened was this. A flaw was found in the Solicitors Act under which a limited company could act as solicitors. That made it necessary to amend the Solicitors Act. Your Lordships passed a Bill and it was made to apply to Scotland. It was found in another place that some technical Amendments were necessary to make the application to Scotland effective. I beg to move that the Commons Amendments be now considered.
§ Moved, That the Commons Amendments be now considered.—(The Lord Chancellor.)
§ On Question, Motion agreed to.
