§ LORD PONSONBY OF SHULBREDEMy Lords, may I ask the Leader of the House whether it will be possible for us to meet at three o'clock to-morrow? I understand there is no judicial business.
§ VISCOUNT HAILSHAMMy Lords, I had not anticipated the business would take so long, but my noble friend thinks there will be a great deal to be said which will make it necessary for us to meet earlier. He has ascertained that there is no judicial business. I have also got the same information and, of course, we shall meet his wishes. My doubt was whether it would be necessary to meet earlier.
§ LORD PONSONBY OF SHULBREDEI do not want to press it. I thought it would be for the convenience of noble Lords who were going away.
§ VISCOUNT HAILSHAMIt is purely a matter of the convenience of the House. Perhaps I had better put it down for three o'clock.
§ LORD PONSONBY OF SHULBREDEI appreciate the fact that the noble Viscount is quite ready to meet me, but perhaps it would be more convenient for us to meet at the usual time.
§ House adjourned at six minutes before seven o'clock.
