HL Deb 25 April 1934 vol 91 c762
THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR AIR (THE MARQUESS OF LONDONDERRY)

My Lords, before we adjourn I think I ought to acquaint your Lordships with the fact that there is a, long list of noble Lords who desire to take part in the debate on the Betting and Lotteries Bill which is down for Second Reading to-morrow, and that it is highly probable it will be impossible to bring the discussion to a close to-morrow. That means that the debate will be adjourned until the next day on which it is possible to resume it in your Lordships' House, and that will be on Tuesday in next week.

House adjourned at four minutes before seven o'clock.
