§ Clause 1, page 1, line 21, at end insert ("being birds of a British species, and for the purposes of this Act a species shall be deemed to he British if, and only if, it is a species resident in or visiting Great Britain in a wild state").
440VISCOUNT BUCKMASTERMy Lords, the next Amendment is a definition of birds of British species, and it states that "for the purposes of this Act a species shall be deemed to be British if, and only if, it is a species resident in or visiting Great Britain in a wild state." I should have thought that was obvious, but that is no reason why we should disagree with this Amendment.
§ Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendment.—(Viscount Buckmaster.)
§ On Question, Motion agreed to.
