§ THE LORD CHANCELLOR
My Lords, I beg to move the Motion standing in my name upon the Order Paper.

§ Moved, That a Committee of six Lords be appointed to join with a Committee of the House of Commons to consider the Local Government Bill; that the Lords following, with the Chairman of Committees, be named of the Committee—

L. O'Hagan,
L. Cottesloe,
L. Addington,
L. Redesdale,
L. Marks:

§ that such Committee have power to agree with the Committee of the House of Commons in the appointment of a Chairman.—(The Lord Chancellor.)

§ On Question, Motion agreed to.

§ Ordered, That a Message be sent to the Commons to acquaint them therewith, and to request them to appoint six Members of that House to be joined with the said Committee.
