THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR WAR (VISCOUNT HAILSHAM)

My Lords, I beg to move the Motion standing in my name in order that, if your Lordships are pleased to pass it, the Exchange Equalisation Account Bill, which has reached us from another place, may pass through all its stages and receive the Royal Assent to-day.

Moved, That Standing Orders Nos. XXI and XXXIX be considered in order to their being dispensed with for the purpose of giving precedence over other Orders of the Day to the Second Reading of the Exchange Equalisation Account Bill and in order to take the Bill through its remaining stages.—(Viscount Hailsham.)

On Question, Motion agreed to, and ordered accordingly.
