THE LORD CHANCELLOR (VISCOUNT SANKEY)

My Lords, I beg to move to resolve, That it is desirable that all Consolidation Bills in the present Session be referred to a Joint Committee of both Houses of Parliament. We are anxious to put before the Committee a Consolidation Bill dealing with the law relating to children.

Moved, That it is desirable that all Consolidation Bills in the present Session be referred to a Joint Committee of both Houses of Parliament—(The Lord Chancellor.)

Ordered, That a Message be sent to the Commons to communicate this Resolution, and to desire their concurrence.
