other day I ventured to move that certain members of your Lordships' House should be chosen for the Standing Orders Committee. At the last moment Lord De La Warr said he could not serve. The Standing Orders Committee must consist of forty members, and therefore another noble Lord must be placed on the Committee as a member. Lord Leven and Melville is willing to serve and I therefore venture to move that his name be added to the Committee.

Moved, That the Earl of Leven and Melville be added to the Standing Orders Committee.—(The Earl of Onslow.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
