HL Deb 01 November 1932 vol 85 cc966-8

Message from the Commons, to acquaint the House that they have made the following Order relative to the London Passenger Transport Bill: "That further proceedings on the London Passenger Transport Bill be further suspended till the next Session of Parliament."

LORD PONSONBY OF SHULBREDE

Arising out of the Message that has just been read, may I ask whether some Motion will come before this House?

THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR WAR (VISCOUNT HAILSHAM)

My Lords, I am much obliged to the noble Lord, and I think probably it would be convenient to put down a Motion in similar terms in your Lordships' House, and to take it on Thursday after the agricultural debate, which I think is the only Order of the Day for that afternoon.

House adjourned at ten minutes before seven o'clock.
