HL Deb 12 May 1932 vol 84 cc425-6
THE CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEES (THE EARL OF ONSLOW)

My Lords, I beg to move that Standing Order No. 171 be considered in order to its being dis- pensed with in respect of the Metropolitan Water Board Bill, so that the Bill may now be read a, third time. It is desirable, if possible, to get on with these Private Bills, and if we are able to read this Bill a third time to-day it will enable it to go to another place before the Recess. I beg to move.

Moved, That Standing Order No. 171 be considered in order to its being dispensed with in respect of the said Bill, and that the Bill be now read 3a.—(The Earl of Onslow.)

On Question, Motion agreed to: Bill read 3a accordingly, and passed, and sent to the Commons.
