HL Deb 10 March 1932 vol 83 cc863-4
LORD PONSONBY OF SHULBREDE

My Lords, before the adjournment is moved, may I ask the Lord Privy Seal if he could tell us what the business will be next week, and if he could also tell us the date of the adjournment for Easter?

THE LORD PRIVY SEAL (VISCOUNT SNOWDEN)

My Lords, in reply to the noble Lord, I understand that at the moment there is no business for next week other than the Motions that appear on the Paper, but there is a possibility that between now and Tuesday something may arise. I am not in a position definitely to say when the House will rise for the Easter recess, but it is very probable that it will be on the Thursday before Good Friday.
