HL Deb 16 June 1932 vol 84 c944
LORD PONSONBY OF SHULBREDE

My Lords, may I take this opportunity to ask the Leader of the House for confirmation of what I believe to be his decision that we should meet at three o'clock on Monday next?

THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR WAR (VISCOUNT HAILSHAM)

My Lords, I have thought that probably it would be for the general convenience if we began our debate a little earlier than usual on Monday. I believe a considerable number of your Lordships wish to take part in the discussion of the Town and Country Planning Bill and if we commence at three o'clock there ought to be a reasonable opportunity to finish without sitting too late. I have ascertained that there is no interference with any judicial business and therefore if your Lordships agree I should propose that the House meets at three o'clock on Monday.

House adjourned during pleasure.

House resumed.
