VISCOUNT HAILSHAM rose to move, That Standing Order No. XXXIX be considered in order to its being suspended until the House do adjourn for the Recess. The noble Viscount said: My Lords, I beg to move the Motion standing in my name. Your Lordships will appreciate that at this period of the Session it is important to get all stages of Bills now before your Lordships' House. I do not think there is any in regard to which it can be said that there will be anything detrimental to the discussion or consideration of them if the Motion is carried.

Moved, That Standing Order No. XXXIX be considered in order to its being suspended until the House do adjourn for the Recess.—(Viscount Hailsham.)

On Question, Motion agreed to, and ordered accordingly.
