§ LORD PARMOORMy Lords, I should like to ask the noble Earl who is leading the House whether he can give us any further information as to the course of public business.
§ THE LORD PRIVY SEAL (EARL PEEL)My Lords, I understand that it is not quite certain at what time the Economy Bill will come up to us, and I think in those circumstances it might be better for the House to adjourn after to-day's proceedings until this day week. We shall then know better—in fact we shall probably know exactly—at what date the House should assemble to receive the Economy Bill.
§ LORD PARMOORI am much obliged to the noble Earl. I quite concur in the suggestion he makes.
