HL Deb 10 November 1931 vol 83 c40
LORD PONSONBY OF SHULBREDE

My Lords, may I ask the Leader of the House when it is proposed that your Lordships shall meet again?

VISCOUNT HAILSHAM

My Lords, I am obliged to the noble Lord for asking that Question. As he knows, they are not quite so expeditious in another place in dealing with the Address as we are accustomed to be here. I do not think that there is any business which is likely to occupy your Lordships' time during the present week and, therefore, if your Lordships thought it convenient, I would suggest that we adjourn until this day next week.

Moved accordingly and, on Question, Motion agreed to.

House adjourned at a quarter past six o'clock until Tuesday next, a quarter past four o'clock.
