THE EARL OF DONOUGHMORE

My Lords, I beg to move the Motion that stands in my name. I mentioned to your Lordships some time ago that I intended to move this and I do not think I need take up time by explaining it.

Moved, That a Select Committee be appointed to consider the Standing Orders relative to Private Bills in so far as they affect notices by advertisement, and to report what amendments, if any, are desirable and also to move that the Lords following, with the Chairman of Committees, be named of the Select Committee:
