HL Deb 08 July 1931 vol 81 c691
THE EARL OF CRAWFORD

My Lords, may I ask if we are going through the Order Paper backwards?

LORD PARMOOR

My Lords, I do not know whether the noble Earl was here when we passed a Resolution suspending Standing Orders. The Motion of the right rev. Prelate, the Bishop of South-wark, has been put off to another day, and now I think there is nothing to do but to adjourn for the Royal Commission. I am told that there is no judicial business to-morrow, so that we can meet, as we did to-day, at a quarter to four. That will enable us to get on with our business at this late stage of the Session. I give notice of that now, and it will be moved later.

THE MARQUESS OF LONDONDERRY

My Lords, the noble and learned Lord asks that the House should meet tomorrow at a quarter to four. I am sure there will be no objection to that on the part of my noble friends.

House adjourned during pleasure.

House resumed.
