THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR WAR (VISCOUNT HAILSHAM) had given notice to move, That Standing Order No. XXI be considered in order to its being dispensed with for the purpose of giving precedence to the Motion standing in the name of the Lord Ker (M. Lothian) over the other Orders of the Day. The noble Viscount said: My Lords, I beg to move the Motion which stands in my name in order to enable the debate on the India Resolution to take precedence of the other business of the day.

Moved, That Standing Order No. XXI be considered in order to its being dispensed with for the purpose of giving precedence to the Motion standing in the name of the Lord Ker (M. Lothian) over the other Orders of the day.—(Viscount Hailsham.)
