HL Deb 20 November 1930 vol 79 c277

Order of the day read for the House to be put into Committee.

THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR THE COLONIES (LORD PASSFIELD)

My Lords, I have to apologise to your Lordships for being in the position of having to ask that the Committee stage of this Bill be postponed until next Tuesday. A technical point has been discovered, and I think it would be better to wait for the Committee stage until this somewhat obscure point has been cleared up.

Committee put off accordingly.
