THE LORD PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL (LORD PARMOOR)

My Lords, you will have heard with deep regret of the death of the Earl of Balfour, this morning. I propose, to-morrow, on the meeting of the House, to move an appropriate Resolution, but to-day I propose at once to move the adjournment of the House as a token of our affection and respect for the late Earl. I beg to move that the House do now adjourn.

Moved, That, as a mark of respect to the memory of the late Earl of Balfour, the House do now adjourn.—(Lord Parmoor.)
