HL Deb 31 July 1930 vol 78 c1194
LORD MARLEY

My Lords, I beg to move that the Commons Reason for disagreeing with an Amendment of your Lordships be now considered. Perhaps I can explain that we have completed the English Housing Bill, and its terms and those of the Scottish Housing Bill are so very much alike that the Government thought perhaps we might be able to give consideration to this Bill to-night. The typewritten Amendments have been circulated to those noble Lords who have shown a special interest in this Bill.

Moved, That the Commons Amendments to the Lords Amendment and the Commons Reason for disagreeing to one of the Lords Amendments be now considered.—(Lord Marley.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
