HL Deb 31 July 1930 vol 78 cc1142-3

Clause 4, page 5, line 42, after ("borough") insert ("and district")

EARL DE LA WARR moved, as an Amendment to the Commons Amendment, after "and" to insert "county." The noble Earl said: My Lords, this is a small drafting Amendment to the Commons Amendment. The subsection would then read:— As soon as any such scheme has been submitted to the Minister, the catchment board shall send copies thereof to the council of every county and county borough and county district.

Amendment to the Commons Amendment moved— After ("and") insert ("county").—(Earl De La Warr.)

On Question, Amendment agreed to.

EARL DE LA WARR

My Lords, I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons Amendment, as amended.
