HL Deb 21 July 1930 vol 78 c662
LORD PARMOOR

May I say before the House adjourns that I hope all noble Lords who want to raise points on the Report stage of the Housing (No. 2) Bill will put down their Amendments as soon as possible.

THE EARL OF ONSLOW

We cannot do it until after to-morrow, because to-morrow we take the Second Reading of the Scottish Bill, and it is largely by what we hear concerning the Scottish Bill that we shall be guided in considering Amendments to this Bill. Therefore I hope the noble and learned Lord will consider postponing the next stage of the English Bill.

LORD PARMOOR

I will certainly consider the matter, but the noble Earl knows the difficulties at this stage of the Session.

House adjourned at half-past seven o'clock.
