The House met at a quarter past four of the clock, The LORD CHANCELLOR on the Woolsack.

MIDDLESEX COUNTY COUNCIL BILL. [H.L.]

LLANELLY DISTRICT TRACTION BILL. [H.L.]

BROMBOROUGH DOCK BILL. [H.L.]

THE CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEES (THE EARL OF DONOUGHMORE)

My Lords, with reference to the three Bills on your Lordships' Paper, I beg to move that Standing Order No. 91 be considered in order to its being dispensed with. There are different reasons in each case justifying this course. They are public and, I think, adequate reasons. If your Lordships desire it I will explain them at length; otherwise I will, as usual, make this Motion formally, and ask your Lordships to agree to it.

Moved, That Standing Order No. 91 be considered in order to its being dispensed with in respect of the said Bills, and that the Bills be now read 24.—(The Earl of Donoughmore.)

On Question, Motion agreed to: Bills read 2— accordingly.
