HL Deb 04 February 1930 vol 76 c464
THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR DOMINION AFFAIRS AND THE COLONIES (LORD PASSFIELD)

My Lords, on behalf of the Leader of the House I wish to mention that to-morrow Lord Parmoor will move that Standing Order No. XXI be considered in order to its being dispensed with for the purpose of giving precedence over other Orders of the Day to the Commons Amendments to the Lords Amendments to the Unemployment Insurance (No. 2) Bill, in the event of their being returned in time from the Commons. I think my noble friend has mentioned this to the noble Marquess opposite, but for the convenience of the House I wish to give notice on behalf of Lord Parmoor.

THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY

That is quite understood, my Lords, and I entirely agree.

House adjourned at twenty minutes past six o'clock.
