HL Deb 15 April 1930 vol 77 c114

Order of the day read for the consideration of Commons Amendment.

LORD PARMOOR

My Lords, this is almost a formal matter. This Bill was before your Lordships last October and November, and I think met with general assent. It is practically a Bill which was left over by the last Government. The only Amendment which the House of Commons have inserted is one made at the express wish of the Government of Northern Ireland, proposing that the Bill should apply to Northern Ireland. There is no Amendment in the ordinary sense, and I move that the Commons Amendment be now considered.

Moved, That the Commons Amendment be now considered.—(Lord Parmoor.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
