WIMBORNE AND DISTRICT ELECTRICITY ORDER, 1929.

YORK ELECTRICITY (EXTENSION, ETC.) ORDER, 1929.

EARL RUSSELL

My Lords, with regard to these two Orders, I have had some communication from the noble Marquess opposite with regard to the electrical position of the Wimborne district, and I have not yet been able to assure myself that this Order does not alter that position. I should not like to move it until I am satisfied that it will not prejudice the questions which the noble Marquess has been discussing with the Ministry. I will only, therefore, move that the York Electricity (Extension, etc.) Order, 1929, be approved.

Moved, That the Special Order as reported from the Special Orders Committee on Tuesday last, be approved.—(Earl Russell.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
