§ EARL BUXTONMy Lords, before the House adjourns may I ask the Leader of the House if he has made any final arrangements about the date when the House will return after Easter?
§ THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURYMy Lords, I did announce a few days ago that it was the intention of the Government to ask your Lordships to meet again on April 11. I understand there has been a certain amount of conversation between noble Lords on the subject and that there is a feeling in some quarters that a day or two more of holidays would agreeable. I do not contest that. Perhaps the noble Earl would allow me to look into it between now and to-morrow and see if I can fall in with that suggestion. There was a Motion on the Paper in the name of one of the noble Lords opposite for April 11, but I understand that that has now been put off to a later date. Perhaps in that case the noble Earl will allow me to occupy the few hours between now and when we meet again in deeply considering this important matter.
§ House adjourned at ten minutes before eleven o'clock.
