§ The attention of the Committee was called to applications for increase of salary and pay from the principal doorkeeper, the Library attendant and the coal porters employed in the House. The Committee appointed a Sub-Committee to consider and report upon the applications. The Marquess of Bath and the Lord Stanmore with the Chairman of Committees were named of the Sub-Committee.
