THE LORD PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL (LORD PARMOOR)

My Lords, in accordance with the Motion that stands in my name on the Paper, I beg to move that Standing Order No. XXXIX be dispensed with for this evening in respect of the Land Drainage Bill.

Moved, That Standing Order No. XXXIX be considered in order to its being dispensed with for this day's sitting, for the purpose of passing the Land Drainage Bill [H.L.] through its remaining stages.—(Lord Parmoor.)

My Lords, I beg to give notice that to-morrow I am afraid I shall again have to put down a Motion that Standing Order No. XXXIX be considered in order to its being dispensed with for that day's sitting for the purpose of passing the Arbitration (Foreign Awards) Bill, the Unemployment Insurance Bill, and the Irish Free State (Confirmation of Agreement) Bill through their remaining stages.
