My Lords, I beg to ask the noble Lord in charge of the Local Government (Scotland) Bill in this House to answer the Question on the Paper—[To ask His Majesty's Government whether, as promised in the case of the English Bill, they will issue before the Second Reading in this House of the Local Government (Scotland) Bill a revised Memorandum explanatory of the provisions of the Bill showing the alterations made in its progress through the House of Commons.]

My Lords, my right hon. friend the Secretary of State for Scotland is giving instructions for the publication of a revised Memorandum explanatory of the provisions of the Local Government (Scotland) Bill, and this will be done as soon as the Report stage of the Bill has been completed in another place.
