HL Deb 23 April 1929 vol 74 c111
THE LORD PRIVY SEAL (THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY)

My Lords, in pursuance of the Notice which I gave last week I beg to move the Motion which stands in my name—namely, that leave be given to advance the Motion for the Third Reading of the Local Government (Scotland) Bill from Thursday next to Wednesday next. I have already stated to your Lordships how sorry I am that the mistake should have been made, but I was not aware of the difficulty in another place when I originally put the Third Reading down for Thursday. I beg to move.

Moved accordingly, and, on Question, Motion agreed to, and ordered accordingly.
