HL Deb 13 November 1928 vol 72 cc116-7
THE EARL OF DONOUGHMORE

My Lords, with reference to the next Motion which stands on the Paper in my name, that in respect to the appointment of your Lordships' House of Lords Offices Committee, I should like to move it in that form, with the addition of the name of my noble friend Lord Londonderry. Since I last myself considered this list of names he has become First Commissioner of Works, and I think it is a matter of very great convenience to myself, and also to your Lordships, that he should be a member of that Committee. I beg to move.

Moved, That a Select Committee on the House of Lords Offices be appointed and that the Lords following, with the Lord Chancellor, the Lord President, the Lord Privy Seal and the Chairman of Committees, be named of the Committee:

—(The Earl of Donoughmore.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.

Leave given to the Committee to report from time to time.

House adjourned at twenty minutes past four o'clock.
