THE LORD PRIVY SEAL (THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY)

My Lords, in conformity with the notice that I gave to your Lordships yesterday, I beg to move the Motion relative to the business of the House which stands in my name on the Paper.

Moved, That Standing Order No. XXXIX be considered in order to its being dispensed with to allow the remaining stages of the Rating (Scotland) Amendment Bill to be taken, and, in the event of a message being received from the Commons that they have passed the Consolidated Fund (No. 1) Bill, in order to take the Bill through all its stages.—(The Marquess of Salisbury.)
