HL Deb 27 March 1928 vol 70 c656
LORD MUIR MACKENZIE

My Lords, I beg to move to resolve, That it is desirable that all Consolidation Bills in the present Session be referred to a Joint Committee of both Houses of Parliament. This Motion is almost a hardy annual, and your Lordships have so often approved of it that I trust you will do so again on this occasion.

Moved accordingly, and, on Question, Motion agreed to.

Ordered, That a Message be sent to the Commons to communicate this Resolution, and to desire their concurrence.
