HL Deb 17 July 1928 vol 71 cc1104-5

Order of the Day for receiving the Report of Amendment read.

LORD WRAXALL

My Lords, I asked leave of your Lordships last week to postpone this stage of the Bill until to-day. I wanted to make certain that the Amendment inserted last week had to stand. I was anxious, of course, to expedite the passage of this Bill and had it been possible I should have liked to take that Amendment out on Report. However, I am informed that the Amendment must stand and, therefore, I beg to move that this Report be now received.

Moved, That the Report of Amendment be now received.—(Lord Wraxall.)

On Question, Motion agreed to: Amendment reported accordingly.
