HL Deb 22 February 1928 vol 70 c235

Amendment reported (according to Order).

THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY

My Lords, I understand that it is proposed to put down the further stage of this Bill for to-morrow. In that event the House will sit to-morrow, but otherwise there is no Order to be considered.

LORD BUCKMASTER

My Lords, the last thing I would desire is to inconvenience your Lordships, and I think it would have been possible to avoid it by having no Amendments on the Committee stage, but it was not thought possible, and I really cannot, without running the risk of sacrificing this Bill, avoid putting it down to-morrow for Third Reading.
