Sir James Richard Atkin, Knight, one of the Lords Justices of Appeal, having been appointed a Lord of Appeal in Ordinary under the provisions of the Appellate Jurisdiction Acts, 1876 and 1013, with the dignity of a Baron for life, by the style and title of Baron Atkin of Aberdovey, in the County of Merioneth—Was (in the usual manner) introduced.
