§ The noble Earl said: A word of explanation of a very brief kind is required upon this point. The original Schedule of maintained churches received from India was, and was expressed to be, provisional. I received the revised list only after I had introduced the Bill. The object of this Amendment is merely to substitute the revised list in the Schedule instead of the original provisional list. The difference between the two lists is quite immaterial. I beg to move.
