HL Deb 26 July 1927 vol 68 cc923-4

Order of the Day for the House to be put into Committee read.

Moved, That the House do now resolve itself into Committee.—(The Earl of Lucan.)

THE EARL OF DONOUGHMORE

My Lords, on this Motion may I say that in the Committee there was some discussion between myself and the Department which my noble friend Lord Lucan represents, in regard to the form of certain clauses. Certain Amendments have been agreed and made in the Committee and I should like to thank my noble friend and those who work for him for the accommodation we have both been able to come to.

On Question, Motion agreed to.

House in Committee accordingly:

[The EARL OF DONOUGHMORE in the Chair.]

Amendments proposed by the Committee made.
