Order of the Day read for the consideration of Commons Amendment.

THE PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY OF THE MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND FISHERIES (LORD BLEDISLOE)

My Lords, I beg to move that the Commons Amendment be now considered.

Moved, That the Commons Amendment be now considered.—(Lord Bledisloe.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.

LORD BLEDISLOE

My Lords, I beg to move that we agree with the Commons in this Amendment. It is simply putting back Clause 4 in this Bill. It was a privilege clause and was omitted by your Lordships' House in order to avoid any question of privilege. It relates to fees chargeable to importers levied on their animals on landing.

Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendment.—(Lord Bledisloe.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
