HL Deb 20 July 1927 vol 68 c663
THE CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEES (THE EARL OF DONOUGHMORE)

My Lords, the first Bill on your Lordships' Order Paper is the East Anglian Electricity Bill and there are Amendments on the Paper to be proposed by my noble friend Lord Askwith. I am glad to say that a conference has taken place between the parties this afternoon. They are not in agreement, but, feeling as I do that it is eminently desirable there should be agreement if possible, I suggest to your Lordships that the Third Reading should be postponed till Monday. I, therefore, do not move the Third Reading this afternoon.

Third Reading put off till Monday next accordingly.
