HL Deb 09 February 1927 vol 66 cc75-6
LORD MUIR MACKENZIE

My Lords, I beg to move the Motion which stands on the Paper in my name. It is in common form and is so moved in various Sessions. I think that the work done by the Committee on Consolidation Bills has been recognised to be of great value.

Moved to resolve, That it is desirable that all Consolidation Bills in the present Session be referred to a Joint Committee of both Houses of Parliament.—(Lord Muir Mackenzie.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.

Ordered, That a Message be sent to the Commons to communicate this Resolution, and to desire their concurrence.
