Clause 26, page 20, line 31, leave out ("regulations made by the reference Committee") and insert ("County Court Rules").

The Commons agree to this Amendment and, as a consequential Amendment, add ("except that in relation to proceedings before the High Court it means prescribed by rules of the Supreme Court").

THE LORD CHANCELLOR

My Lords, I move that this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendment. This clause, the Interpretation Clause, status that the expression "prescribed" means "prescribed by County Court Rules"; to which the Commons desire to add, "except that in relation to proceedings before the High Court it means prescribed by rules of the Supreme Court."
