HL Deb 05 April 1927 vol 66 cc898-9

Order of the Day for the Second Reading read.

THE UNDER-SECRETARY OF STATE FOR WAR (THE EARL OF ONSLOW)

My Lords, the alterations in the Army and Air Force (Annual) Bill this year are very few, and I do not think that your Lordships would wish me to trouble you at length in explaining them. They are all comparatively minor points, but it any noble Lords wish to ask questions on any of them I will do my best to give any information that it is in my power to provide.

Moved, That the Bill be now read 2a.—(The Earl of Onslow.)

On Question, Bill read 2a, and committed to a Committee of the Whole House.
